Chevrolet Rolling Out The Dice For The Northwest…
Here is an interesting twist on how Chevrolet is marketing its vehicles now. They are doing a test run to see how the consumers will respond to the program. The testing is narrowed down to only two states up northwest. The states that are included are Oregon and Washington. General Motors is offering a years worth of insurance on any 2010, 2011 or 2012 Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac or GMC models. The insurance is through Met Life Auto & Home and is no additional cost according to the management. GM is offering the coverage of liability and physical damage that exceeds the limits in the in both of the states. Chevy Dealer Sarasota is not included with this program but they know this would entice consumers in their area.
Met Life Auto & Home insurance policy is considered one of the most comprehensive in the industry. What does the coverage actually take care of will be one of your first questions. It covers like the standard insurance you have to purchase on any new car. The policy covers the vehicle, the owner and any other person who is driving the vehicle with the permission of the owner. It will stay covered from the date of purchase as long as the owner still leases or owns the vehicle. The policy does not cover vehicles for commercial or fleet purposes. This policy also covers a vehicle that ends up damaged beyond repair, to be replaced without costing you thousands of dollars. Most policies do not carry this coverage. The limitations on the vehicle replacement is in the first year or the first 15,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
The other qualifications for this program is that the owner has a valid license and the vehicle is registered in either of those two states. Upon the years’ end, the owner can either renew the insurance or be at liberty to find insurance through another provider. With all of this, GM’s release of vehicles that have the public eye’s on them, GM is hoping that this makes their vehicles even more appealing to them. That the consumers feel that buying these vehicles are more appealing with all of the perks that do come with it.
In the end, we will see if this warrants a continuation of the program. I feel that there might not be enough time allowed for the program because it does run from July 5th to September 6th, 2011. Some people know they have expenses coming up for their kids, the school supplies or even the tuition. I do believe this will raise the bar if General Motors continues it or offers it in other states for Florida Chevrolet Dealers. Just in my family, we plan on when we will purchase a vehicle, what time of year it best suits the budget, when we feel we can achieve an awesome deal and what vehicle are we wanting to purchase. We have options and my husband is Italian, so he will negotiate until he pays what he feels is reasonable price for a vehicle. This definitely raised his eyebrows when I told him because he loves the Buick Lacrosse, but that is not in our budget right now.
